LTC Pharmacy Technician - Chandler, Arizona

Join a growing healthcare team as a dedicated Pharmacy Technician specializing in Long Term Care order entry and support. This direct hire opportunity is based in Chandler, AZ, and offers a Monday to Friday afternoon-evening schedule, with shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM after training. Weekend rotation is required to provide exceptional service around the clock.

In this key role, you will ensure patients receive their medications accurately and on time by entering new and refill prescriptions with precision and efficiency. The position involves a balanced split of approximately 50% data/order entry and 50% patient, provider, and pharmacy communication. Your ability to handle phone consultations professionally and courteously is essential to support medication delivery and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter new and refill medication orders into the pharmacy software system
• Track and monitor medication delivery status to guarantee timely fulfillment
• Provide excellent telephonic customer service, addressing questions and concerns from patients and providers
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth pharmacy operations and exceed service expectations
• Monitor reports for orders requiring attention, resolving any issues promptly
• Meet or exceed pharmacy run time commitments to support fulfillment colleagues

Qualified candidates will have:

• Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification
• Prior experience in a Long Term Care pharmacy setting preferred; retail experience considered for those seeking a change
