This full-time, contract opportunity in Chandler, AZ, is ideal for Pharmacy Technicians with pharmacy experience seeking to expand their skill set into non-sterile compounding within an animal pharmacy and mail-order environment. This role offers hands-on experience preparing custom compounded medications, with comprehensive training provided to those eager to learn compounding techniques.

Schedule/Shift:
- Full Time
- 2nd shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (confirmation pending on other shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality non-sterile compounded medications including capsules, oral liquids, topicals, nasal preparations, tablets, and treats
- Accurately label prescriptions and prepackage bulk medications
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reorder supplies as needed, and receive shipments
- Conduct routine cleaning following strict disinfectant protocols to ensure a safe and compliant workspace
- Perform environmental monitoring and validation testing in accordance with policies
- Apply strong attention to detail and mathematical skills to meet or exceed prescription creation metrics
- Support timely delivery of medications to pet owners and veterinary clients
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must hold a valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license
- Previous pharmacy technician experience required
- Willingness to be trained in non-sterile compounding techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy
