Providing essential support to a community-focused healthcare environment, this Per Diem Pharmacy Technician role offers an opportunity to contribute expertise to an FQHC/340B setting in Charlotte, NC. This position primarily involves covering call-offs, PTO, and vacation shifts, with an estimated commitment of two shifts per month during weekday hours.

Location: Charlotte, NC
Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) - 340B Program
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (No weekends)
Type: Per Diem (PRN)

Qualifications / Desired Experience

  • Valid North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license
  • Recent hands-on experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Familiarity with FQHC environments is preferred
  • Experience serving underserved patient populations is highly desirable
  • Comfort working independently in a 1 Pharmacist / 1 Technician model
  • Spanish language skills are a plus to better serve the community

Responsibilities

  • Support pharmacy operations within an FQHC environment, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing
  • Provide patient-focused care, assisting a diverse and underserved population
  • Collaborate effectively with a single pharmacist in day-to-day workflow
  • Utilize the PioneerRx system proficiently for medication management and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
