A community health clinic in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to provide coverage for call offs, PTO, and vacation shifts. This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician comfortable working with underserved populations in a patient-focused environment.

Location: Charlotte, NC
Setting: FQHC/340B clinic
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (no weekends)
Shift Frequency: Approximately 2 shifts per month
System: PioneerRx pharmacy software

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pharmacy operations during coverage shifts
  • Work closely with one pharmacist in a 1 Pharmacist/1 Technician setting
  • Assist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent patient service with sensitivity to an underserved population
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and clinic policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid NC Pharmacy Technician license
  • Recent experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Familiarity with FQHC or similar healthcare settings preferred
  • Experience serving underserved patient populations preferred
  • Comfortable working independently in a small pharmacy team
  • Spanish-speaking skills preferred to better support the patient community
