A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to provide essential PRN support covering call-offs, PTO, and vacation shifts—approximately two per month. This role offers an opportunity to contribute within a patient-centered clinical setting serving an underserved community.

Location:

  • Charlotte, North Carolina

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing consistent with FQHC and 340B program requirements
  • Provide support in medication preparation, inventory control, and record-keeping using PioneerRx pharmacy system
  • Collaborate effectively in a small team environment typically consisting of one pharmacist and one technician
  • Maintain patient confidentiality while delivering professional and compassionate service to a diverse patient population
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Current North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license (required)
  • Recent hands-on experience as a pharmacy technician, ideally in FQHC or community health settings
  • Familiarity with working alongside underserved patient populations preferred
  • Comfort working in a 1 Pharmacist/1 Technician environment
  • Spanish language proficiency is a strong plus, particularly if the supervising pharmacist is also Spanish-speaking
