Pharmacy Technician | Chattanooga, Tennessee

A mail order compounding pharmacy in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician with expertise in sterile compounding. This position is contract to hire and requires a skilled technician comfortable with fast-paced pharmacy operations and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding duties following established pharmacy procedures and safety protocols
• Assist in preparing and packaging medications for mail order fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with USP guidelines and pharmacy protocols
• Maintain accuracy in labeling, documentation, and packaging of compounded medications
• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in daily workflow and operations
• Keep compounding areas clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards
• Adhere to all state, federal, and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
• Demonstrated hands-on sterile compounding experience
• Previous experience in mail order or compounding pharmacies preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule consistently
• Reliable, professional attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
