Pharmacy Technician | Chattanooga, Tennessee

A full-time Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in a mail order compounding pharmacy located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This contract-to-hire role is suited for a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with hands-on sterile compounding experience who thrives in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The position requires working the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding in accordance with established pharmacy procedures, USP guidelines, and safety standards
• Assist in preparing medications for mail order fulfillment with precision
• Ensure accuracy in labeling, packaging, and documentation of compounded medications
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy staff with daily operations and workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding area at all times
• Adhere to all applicable state, federal, and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
• Proven sterile compounding experience essential
• Prior mail order or compounding pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Availability to work the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday
