An opportunity is available for Overnight Production Pharmacy Technicians to support a closed-door, long-term care facility in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This direct hire position offers a consistent overnight schedule with 10-hour shifts, providing a focused environment for medication preparation and inventory management.
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Shift:
- Shift 1: Sunday through Wednesday, 9:00pm – 7:00am
- Shift 2: Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00pm – 7:00am
Role Overview:
As a Production Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for accurately preparing medications in appropriate packaging formats such as blister packs and unit-dose systems to ensure timely delivery to residents. You will assist with the ordering, receiving, and stocking of medications while maintaining proper storage conditions and monitoring expiration dates. Additionally, you will keep detailed and accurate records of patient and medication information. The facility utilizes Frameworks software, and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications according to specified packaging methods.
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and maintaining medication stock.
- Monitor and document medication expiration dates.
- Maintain accurate patient and medication records using Frameworks software.
- Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to support resident care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
- NJ State Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required.
- PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
