Seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a small hospital pharmacy in the St. Louis suburbs. This contract opportunity begins ASAP and will last approximately 8 weeks, providing a chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Location:
- Chesterfield, MO
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile compounding to prepare medications in a controlled environment
- Restock Omnicell machines to ensure prompt availability of pharmaceuticals
- Field incoming calls to the pharmacy, providing efficient and courteous service
- Support daily pharmacy operations to maintain compliance and patient safety
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Missouri Pharmacy Technician License (MO License) required
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with inpatient pharmacy workflow
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Local candidates are highly preferred to facilitate quick onboarding and consistent attendance
