Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Chicago, Illinois

A retail pharmacy is seeking a Spanish-speaking Pharmacy Technician to provide essential support at their Chicago location. This per diem position offers the opportunity to work 2-3 days per week within a dynamic retail pharmacy environment using the Best Rx system, with training provided if needed.

Schedule:

• 2-3 days per week
• Hours of operation:
  • Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and fill 50-75 prescriptions daily
• Perform OTC pharmacy duties and assist patients in-person and over the phone
• Provide patient support by answering questions and helping with medication needs
• Maintain accuracy and quality in prescription filling
• Use the Best Rx system for processing prescriptions (training provided)

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB certification preferred but not required
• Retail pharmacy experience ideal, but motivated new graduates eager to learn are encouraged to apply
• Must be fluent in Spanish to communicate effectively with patients
