An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician specializing in outpatient pharmacy settings. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ideal for professionals seeking consistent daytime hours. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense outpatient prescriptions in a retail pharmacy environment
• Utilize Pioneer RX computer system to manage prescription data and maintain inventory
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
• Assist customers with prescription inquiries while providing excellent service
• Participate in updating agreements and protocols within the pharmacy

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail outpatient setting
• Valid Illinois pharmacy technician license
• Proficiency with Pioneer RX or similar pharmacy computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
