Pharmacy Technician - Chicago, IL

A healthcare facility specializing in closed-door, long-term care is seeking a dedicated Evening Shift IV Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Woodridge, IL. This role offers an opportunity for a reliable technician with sterile compounding experience to contribute to a high-volume environment, producing approximately 600 prescriptions daily. The position is direct hire, with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities include preparing intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to ensure sterility, performing quality assurance checks, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with USP 797 standards and relevant regulations. The specialist will work primarily with Frameworks software, with training provided as needed.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
• Rotating every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• Proven sterile compounding experience
• Strong reliability with excellent attendance record
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
