Pharmacy Technician in Chicago, IL

Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a healthcare site in Chicago, IL, on a per diem contract basis from May 28 through July 2. This role demands attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized health professionals.
• Provide clear and helpful information to customers regarding medication usage and safety.
• Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and inventory management.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois is required.
• Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
