Pharmacy Technician - Chicago, Illinois

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care and mail order pharmacy operations in Chicago, IL. This contract-to-hire position offers the potential for a permanent role following a 13-week assignment, working within a dynamic pharmacy environment focused on accurate and efficient medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and enter medication orders accurately using Frameworks system (training will be provided).
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations in a long-term care (LTC) and mail order setting.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of medications.
• Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with rotating Saturday shifts from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or retail pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus; however, training is available for the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
