Pharmacy Tech | Cibolo, Texas

A pharmacy technician role is available in Cibolo, TX, focusing on long-term care pharmacy support with an afternoon to evening shift. This contract position starts on March 2, 2026.

Shift/Hours:

• 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Preparation: Accurately read prescriptions, calculate dosages, measure, mix, count, and label medications to assist pharmacists in dispensing.
• Dispensing & Documentation: Dispense medications, process insurance claims, maintain patient profiles, and file prescriptions efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Manage stock levels by tracking inventory, entering orders, rotating stock, and ordering supplies as necessary.
• Workflow Support: Oversee daily pharmacy workflow including opening and closing procedures to maintain timely service.
• Customer & Team Communication: Engage professionally with patients, clinicians, and team members, while assisting with medication awareness initiatives.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Follow quality checklists, safety standards, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Specialized Tasks: Operate dispensing machines or robotics and support IV room operations or compounding sterile/non-sterile preparations when applicable.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Familiarity with pharmacy inventory systems and dispensing technology.
