A position is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support an outpatient pharmacy environment. This role offers a day shift schedule, with Monday through Friday hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position begins as a contract assignment with the potential to transition to a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, maintaining medication inventory, and providing excellent customer service within a retail outpatient pharmacy setting. Familiarity with the Pioneer RX computer system will support efficient order processing and record management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience
- Experience in retail outpatient pharmacy settings
- Valid Illinois pharmacy technician license
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Work Environment:
- Outpatient pharmacy setting
- Use of Pioneer RX computer system
This role involves updating agreements with signed documentation as part of the onboarding process.
