Pharmacy Technician - Cicero, IL

An outpatient pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a day shift position, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is temp to direct hire, offering the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Location: Cicero, IL
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
• Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations and customer service
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Utilize Pioneer RX computer system for prescription processing and record keeping
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience
• Experience working in a retail outpatient pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems, preferably Pioneer RX
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
