IV Compounding IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Cincinnati, OH

A mail order compounding pharmacy specializing in non-insurance medications is seeking three Pharmacy Front Pharmacy Technicians for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role involves helping manage a new high-volume contract by efficiently preparing and shipping prescriptions to patients nationwide, including all 50 states and DC. The ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Type: Contract to Hire (13 weeks initially, with potential for direct hire)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• High-volume prescription fulfillment, including pulling and prepping medications for shipment
• Supporting patient calls when necessary
• Performing non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Adapting quickly to workflow demands and collaborating effectively with team members

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio required
• National certification (CPhT) is a plus
• Ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume workflows and maintain accuracy under pressure

Compensation:

• Pay varies based on experience and licensure level
• Pharmacy Technician in Training: $18-$19/hour
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician: $20-$23/hour
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): $23-$25/hour
