A full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Cincinnati, Ohio, offering a contract-to-hire position within a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The role focuses on supporting pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Shift: 1st shift

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist with patient service and pharmacy department management
• Greeting customers and responding to their inquiries professionally
• Receiving prescriptions, verifying their validity, and processing them electronically
• Resolving prescription-related issues such as rejected insurance claims with accuracy and patience
• Selecting medications and measuring dosages to fill prescriptions correctly
• Sorting, stocking, labeling medications, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure availability

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio
• Retail pharmacy experience or similar setting preferred
• Experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
