Pharmacy Technician - Cincinnati, Ohio

A retail pharmacy technician role is available in Cincinnati, Ohio, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with first-shift hours. This position supports the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient service and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and managing the pharmacy department.
• Greet customers and respond to inquiries accurately and courteously.
• Receive prescriptions, verify their validity, and process them electronically with full accuracy.
• Address issues such as rejected insurance claims promptly and effectively.
• Select appropriate medications and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.
• Sort, stock, label medications, and monitor inventory levels to ensure proper supply.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in retail or a similar pharmacy environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly desirable.
