Pharmacy Tech - Cincinnati, Ohio

This opportunity is designed for a skilled Pharmacy Technician seeking to leverage retail pharmacy experience in a dynamic environment. The role offers a 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent position, providing a platform to demonstrate expertise while contributing to high-quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system
• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications
• Manage and monitor over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels
• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting customers with inquiries or concerns
• Resolve issues with third-party prescription plans to ensure smooth prescription processing

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of one year’s experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is advantageous
