Pharmacy Technician in Cincinnati, OH

This role offers a 13-week contract to hire opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician in Cincinnati, Ohio, working primarily first shift hours.

Schedule:

• Monday-Wednesday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription medications
• Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with questions and concerns
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth processing of prescriptions

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is a plus
