Pharmacy Technician in Cincinnati, OH

This opportunity is ideal for a certified Pharmacy Technician with recent inpatient experience, seeking a defined contract assignment in Cincinnati, OH, beginning mid-June. The 13-week position offers a dynamic schedule, with overnight shifts and weekend work, supporting pharmacy operations in an inpatient healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions and healthcare provider orders.
• Assist pharmacists with IV admixture preparation and medication distribution.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for accurate documentation and medication management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care and medication therapy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience.
• IV preparation experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Two overnight shifts Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Two weekend shifts every other weekend, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
