Pharmacy Technician - Cincinnati, OH

A pharmacy technician role is available for a 13-week contract starting on June 14th in Cincinnati, OH. This position requires working overnight and weekend shifts, providing support in an inpatient setting within a hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Two shifts every other weekend from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Overnight shifts Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team members to manage medication inventories.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system to document and manage patient information and medication orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and pharmacy regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of intravenous (IV) medications, if applicable.
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflow and patient care.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience is required.
• Experience with intravenous (IV) medication preparation is a strong plus.
• Must hold a valid Ohio pharmacy technician license.
• National certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
