Seeking a Pharmacy Technician with specialized inpatient experience to support a healthcare facility in Cincinnati, OH. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, starting on June 14, with focused overnight and weekend shifts. Qualified candidates will demonstrate proficiency in pharmacy operations within an inpatient setting, familiarity with IV preparations, and the ability to operate Cerner EMR systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision in an inpatient environment.
• Manage medication inventory, including IV admixture, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize Cerner EMR to document and process medication orders and patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain smooth pharmacy operations during assigned shifts.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including state and national certifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience.
• Proficient in intravenous (IV) medication preparation (preferred).
• Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license.
• National certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience using Cerner EMR system.

Schedule:

• (2) shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM every other weekend.
• (2) overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.
