Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Citrus Heights, CA

This per diem opportunity offers consistent week-in, week-out revenue and the chance to work across multiple sites in the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton as needed. Candidates must be prepared to cover shifts throughout the region, providing valuable pharmacy technician support where it’s needed most.

Location:

• Positions available in Citrus Heights, CA, with assignments across the greater Sacramento area and surrounding locations.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day, evening, and weekend shifts available.
• Flexible availability is essential to meet coverage needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of retail pharmacy duties including answering phones, accurate data entry, printing labels, and filling prescriptions.
• Dispense medications efficiently while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Operate cash register, manage inventory, and handle medication takebacks.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy and healthcare staff to maintain smooth operations and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience required. Candidates with less than one year of experience will not be considered.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills and strong communication abilities are critical for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
