A dynamic opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to play an integral role in launching a new outpatient pharmacy in Newark, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately
- Enter and maintain patient and prescription information with precision
- Support inventory management and medication ordering processes
- Process insurance claims and assist with resolving billing issues
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration/license in New Jersey required
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- PTCB Certification preferred but not mandatory
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
- Experience with pharmacy management systems such as PrimeRx or MicroMerchant is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
