Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Clifton, NJ

This opportunity is for a Community Pharmacy Technician role based in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting with a 340B program. The position requires a pharmacy technician who can provide consistent, reliable support to the pharmacy team and ensure quality pharmaceutical care for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include accurately filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and assisting patients with prescription-related questions. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within the MicroMerchant and PrimeRx pharmacy systems are valuable for success in this role.

Schedule:

• One weekday per week (consistent day each week)
• Every other Saturday
• Pharmacy hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday

• Newark, New Jersey (741 Broadway)

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year community or retail pharmacy experience (preferred)
• Experience in FQHC / 340B pharmacy programs (preferred, not required)
• Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, are highly preferred due to the patient population
• Familiarity with MicroMerchant / PrimeRx systems is an advantage; training will be provided as needed
