Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Clifton, NJ

This opportunity is for a skilled Community Pharmacy Technician to support operations at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with 340b program involvement. The position requires a dependable individual to provide professional pharmacy services in a community-based setting using MicroMerchant and PrimeRx systems.

Location:

• Clifton, NJ

Schedule:

• Must be available to work one consistent weekday per week
• Available every other Saturday
• Pharmacy hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications within the FQHC pharmacy setting
• Utilize MicroMerchant and PrimeRx systems for prescription processing and inventory management
• Assist pharmacists with daily workflow and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable support and counseling to patients
• Ensure proper handling and documentation related to the 340b drug pricing program

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in a community or FQHC setting
• Familiarity with MicroMerchant and PrimeRx software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
