An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support an inpatient hospital setting in Clinton, OH. This role offers a 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a direct hire position. The schedule follows a consistent 7 on, 7 off pattern, working night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, typically running Thursday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform order entry using Meditech software.
- Manage medication distribution utilizing Pyxis automation systems.
- Prepare sterile compounding in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio.
- Current national certification.
- Experience working in an inpatient pharmacy environment.
- Proficiency with sterile compounding procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently operate Pyxis automation.
Schedule:
