Pharmacy Technician | Cloudcroft, New Mexico

Pharmacy Technicians with a passion for patient care and medication management have an opportunity to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a hospital setting. This contract position is based in Cloudcroft, NM, offering a dynamic work environment where accuracy and teamwork are paramount.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts every third weekend: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation:

• Pharmacy Technician: $19 - $22 per hour
• Pharmacy Technician with IV certification: $20 - $23 per hour
• Pharmacy Technician with chemotherapy experience: $23 - $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Manage inventory and restock as needed to ensure continuous supply
• Assist in the preparation of intravenous solutions and chemotherapy medications if certified
• Support the pharmacy team with effective communication and patient service
• Follow hospital protocols to maintain safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy Technician certification or licensure
• IV certification and chemo experience highly desirable but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
