Pharmacy Technician in Clovis, CA

An established health center in Parlier, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 5-6 months. This position is ideal for a dependable technician with recent retail pharmacy experience who can excel in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting.

Location: Parlier, CA (Candidate likely based in Fresno with a daily 20+ minute commute; no mileage reimbursement)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: August 31 or September 8
Duration: 5-6 months (Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail/community pharmacy technician duties within a health center environment
• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Utilize Rx30 pharmacy system to process prescriptions and maintain records
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and healthcare team members
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a retail pharmacy technician
• Ability to work reliably with punctual attendance every scheduled day
• Proficient with pharmacy software, preferably Rx30
• Spanish-speaking skills highly preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient safety
