Seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician for a per diem role in a retail/outpatient hospital setting located southeast of Indianapolis. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with consistent hours every two weeks, ideal for candidates who prefer part-time or PRN work without committing to full-time hours. The position operates primarily during 1st shift hours, between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
  • Measure, mix, label, and document medication dosages
  • Process new and refill prescriptions, including adjudication and filing with knowledge of insurance claims and rejections
  • Manage inventory tasks, including removal of outdated stock and handling uncollected prescriptions
  • Provide cashiering and customer service support such as operating the cash register, balancing transactions, answering phones, and assisting customers with over-the-counter items
  • Maintain prescription filing systems and handle voicemail communications as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in Indiana
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Recent pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting
  • Proficient with PioneerRX system experience is a plus; training will be provided
  • Strong team player with excellent customer service skills

Location: Greensburg, IN (approximately southeast of Indianapolis)

Schedule:

  • 2-3 days per schedule, every two weeks
  • Flexible scheduling accommodating your availability
  • First shift hours, generally between 9 AM–5 PM, 10 AM–6 PM, or 11 AM–7 PM, Monday through Friday
