Per Diem Pharmacy Tech - Columbus, Ohio

A healthcare facility in need of a certified and Ohio-licensed pharmacy technician is offering a rewarding per diem opportunity in Columbus, OH. This role supports a team of pharmacists and technicians dedicated to providing accurate and safe pharmaceutical services in a facility with an average daily census of 15.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refill medication automation cabinets (Pyxis)
• Compound hazardous and non-hazardous medications
• Assist with medication order entry using EPIC (experience a plus, but not required)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Potential weekend coverage 1-2 weekends per month
• Coverage duration: Start ASAP for approximately 8-12 weeks

Desired Experience:

• Certification as a pharmacy technician with current Ohio licensure required
• Experience with Pyxis automation systems is essential
• Compounding hazardous and non-hazardous substances
• Familiarity with EPIC system considered beneficial

Additional Information:

• Work alongside a skilled team comprising 3.8 pharmacists and 2.8 technicians
• Local candidates are preferred; however, travel expenses may be compensated for qualified non-local candidates
