Pharmacy Technician in Columbus, OH

A dedicated Pharmacy Technician role is available supporting retail pharmacy services in Columbus, Ohio. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity focused on delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 1st shift
• Monday-Wednesday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists by serving patients efficiently and maintaining pharmacy operations.
• Greet and communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries professionally.
• Receive and validate prescription documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Process prescriptions electronically, resolving issues such as insurance claim rejections promptly.
• Accurately select medications and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.
• Manage inventory by sorting, stocking, labeling medication, and monitoring supply levels.

Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio is required.
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy or a similar setting preferred.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software highly preferred.
