This Retail Pharmacy Technician opportunity offers a 13-week contract-to-perm assignment in the Cincinnati, Ohio area with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and efficient pharmacy operations. Location:
- Cincinnati, Ohio
Schedule / Hours:
- Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 1st Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription orders while maintaining compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage and replenish over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to ensure stock availability.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Work with third-party prescription plans to troubleshoot and resolve adjudication issues facilitating prescription processing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is highly desired.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Compensation:
- Pay rate of $22 per hour.
