This Retail Pharmacy Technician opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio offers a 13-week contract to hire position. The role is designed for a detail-oriented pharmacy technician experienced in supporting pharmacists in a fast-paced retail environment. Work Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of prescription medications.
• Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs and questions.
• Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and expedite prescription processing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license issued by the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is a plus but not mandatory.
