Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient operations in Columbus, OH for a 13-week contract starting June 14. This role requires strong clinical skills within a hospital setting and the ability to work overnight and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications in an inpatient environment
- Handle intravenous (IV) admixtures, enhancing medication delivery when required
- Utilize Cerner EMR system to manage prescription data and documentation
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure safe medication administration
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience
- Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required
- National certification (e.g., PTCB or NHA) mandatory
- Familiarity with intravenous medication preparation preferred
- Proficient in Cerner EMR or similar electronic systems
Schedule:
- Two 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM shifts every other weekend
- Four overnight shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
