Pharmacy Technician | Columbus, Ohio

A pharmacy technician position is available for a 13-week contract starting June 14 in Columbus, OH. This role offers a dynamic schedule requiring flexibility and strong technical skills in an inpatient hospital environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Two shifts every other weekend from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Four overnight shifts Monday through Thursday, 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and distribute medications in an inpatient setting.
• Assist pharmacists in managing and compounding IV medications.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for medication orders and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• At least one year of recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience.
• IV preparation experience is highly preferred.
• Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license.
• National certification as a pharmacy technician is required.
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records.
