A mail-order compounding pharmacy in Athens, Ohio is offering an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians interested in advancing their career by gaining expertise in sterile IV compounding. This full-time temp-to-perm position is ideal for individuals with at least two years of experience in pharmacy technician roles who want to expand their skillset. No prior compounding experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, and order fulfillment
• Learn and perform non-sterile and sterile compounding techniques, including IV preparation, through hands-on training
• Accurately fill, label, and package prescriptions for mail distribution
• Maintain compliance with USP standards and other pharmacy regulations
• Support inventory management and keep the workspace clean and organized
• Assist with shipping logistics and ensure smooth workflow coordination

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active Pharmacy Technician license if mandated by state law
• High attention to detail and eagerness to learn new pharmacy practices and technologies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• No prior compounding experience required; willingness to undergo training is essential

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
• Open and close shifts available
