Pharmacy Technician – Full Time | Athens, OH | Temp to Perm | Training Provided

An excellent opportunity is available for Pharmacy Technicians with at least 2 years of experience who are ready to expand their expertise into sterile IV compounding. Located in Athens, Ohio, this role is with a mail-order compounding pharmacy that offers comprehensive hands-on training to develop your skills from the ground up—no prior compounding experience necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, and order fulfillment
• Participate in learning and supporting non-sterile and sterile compounding, including IV preparation
• Accurately fill, label, and package prescriptions for mail distribution
• Ensure compliance with USP standards and pharmacy regulations
• Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Support shipping operations and workflow coordination

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician license if required by state regulations
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning new skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• No previous compounding experience needed—training is provided

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
