Pharmacy Tech - Columbus, Ohio

A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a fast-paced environment with an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 per day. This position offers a clear path from a 13-week contract to a potential direct hire opportunity, providing stability and growth within a well-established pharmacy team.

Location:

• Columbus, OH

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription orders using Prime RX system
• Support pharmacists in daily workflow and prescription filling
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail pharmacy
• Active Ohio pharmacy technician license required
• Familiarity with Prime RX system is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volume
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Work Environment:

• Collaborative team consisting of 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists
• Retail setting with steady workflow and supportive colleagues
