Seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a busy retail pharmacy setting in Columbus, OH. This role involves working alongside a team of pharmacy professionals in a fast-paced environment, managing an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 scripts per day. The position offers a 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and enter prescription orders using Prime RX software
• Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations and customer service
• Manage prescription filling and dispensing tasks while maintaining compliance with regulations
• Support inventory management and ensure medication accuracy
• Provide excellent communication and support to patients and healthcare providers

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy setting
• Possession of a valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
• Familiarity with Prime RX is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume pharmacy environment

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Environment and Team:

• Retail pharmacy environment
• Staff includes 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists
• Average daily prescription volume ranges from 200 to 300
