A community health clinic is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to provide essential coverage on a per diem basis, supporting call offs, vacation, and PTO coverage. This role offers an opportunity to work approximately two shifts per month within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting, serving an underserved patient population.

Location:

  • Charlotte, NC

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekends
  • PRN (as needed), approximately 2 shifts per month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pharmacist operations in a 1 Pharmacist/1 Technician environment
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately using the PioneerRx system
  • Assist with inventory management and 340B program compliance
  • Provide compassionate, patient-focused service tailored to the community clinic setting
  • Facilitate communication with patients, including Spanish-speaking individuals, to ensure proper medication use and adherence

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license
  • Recent, relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Experience working in an FQHC or similar community health setting preferred
  • Comfort and experience working with underserved populations strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a small team setting
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, especially if able to assist Spanish-speaking patients
