Pharmacy Technician - Connersville, Indiana

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to contribute expertise in a healthcare setting. This role offers flexibility with two different shift options to support pharmacy operations efficiently.

Location:

• Connersville, IN

Schedule/Hours:

• Position 1: Nights, 7 days on, 7 days off (9 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Position 2: Days/afternoons, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding with accuracy and adherence to safety standards
• Restock Pyxis machines to ensure proper medication availability
• Field calls into the pharmacy, providing timely and professional responses
• Deliver medications to hospital floors promptly and safely
• Identify and pull expired medications to maintain inventory integrity

Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license in Indiana or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years recent hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in medication handling
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
