Pharmacy Technician in Crestwood, KY

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with experience in specialty compounding, working in a fast-paced environment supporting sterile and clean room preparations. This role is based in Louisville, KY, at a specialty compounding pharmacy that ships Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) nationwide, with additional sites in Elk Grove, CA, and Phoenix, AZ.

Job Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  Assignment Duration: Approximately 12-13 weeks, with potential for hire based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry and processing of prior authorizations (PAs)
• Assist with sterile and clean room preparation processes without directly working in the clean room
• Support materials management and ensure attention to detail in daily workflow
• Collaborate closely with clean room technicians to maintain efficient operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
• Experience managing pharmacy materials and inventory
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
• Prior infusion pharmacy experience is a strong plus but not required
• Proficiency with CPR+ pharmacy systems is highly preferred
• Active Kentucky pharmacy technician license; national certification is highly preferred
