Pharmacy Technician | Dallas, Texas

A healthcare facility in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role focuses on preparing and mixing sterile compounds, supporting infusion therapies, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards to provide safe and effective medication to patients.

Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Work Schedule:

• Tuesday to Friday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation: One weekend every eighth week, starting at the end of Saturday shift and ending when business opens Monday at 8:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Sterile Compounding Certification
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certified
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sterile compounding
• Proven infusion therapy experience

Responsibilities:

• Rotate responsibilities between preparation duties in the pharmacy and sterile mixing within the cleanroom
• Accurately compound sterile products following strict protocols and quality standards
• Participate in an on-call weekend rotation to support pharmacy operations outside regular hours
• Maintain a clean and compliant work environment adhering to regulatory requirements
