Pharmacy Technician | Dallas, Texas

A specialized opportunity is available for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work in Dallas, TX. This role involves essential responsibilities in preparing and mixing sterile medications, ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy within the pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding duties, including preparation in the pharmacy and mixing in the cleanroom.
• Follow strict aseptic techniques to maintain product integrity and patient safety.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing support one weekend every eighth week from the end of the Saturday shift until Monday morning business hours.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to manage workflow and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Work Schedule:

• Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• On-call rotation on one weekend every eight weeks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
• Sterile Compounding Certification required.
• Valid PTCB certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on sterile compounding experience.
• Proven infusion therapy experience is a must.
