Pharmacy Technician - Dallas, Texas

A local, full-time opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door pharmacy setting embedded within a behavioral health hospital. This role is contract-to-hire and requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Reliability and professionalism are essential due to the sensitive nature of the pharmacy’s operations and previous staffing challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in filling and dispensing 350-400 behavioral health medication prescriptions per day
• Support pharmacy operations within a closed-door setting, separate from but contracted with the behavioral health clinic
• Utilize Enterprise RX software (training provided) to manage prescriptions and workflows
• Participate in automation and streamlined workflow processes to maintain efficiency
• Collaborate effectively with a team consisting of one pharmacist and additional pharmacy technicians

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with at least 1 year in retail pharmacy settings
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to dependability

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
