Pharmacy Technician in Daly City, CA

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to support a busy medical facility in Daly City, CA. The role involves working with a dynamic pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient preparation and distribution of medications. Preference is given to candidates with some IV experience, though on-the-job training is available for those with general pharmacy technician background.

Location:

• Daly City, CA

Schedule:

• Shifts start at 6 am, 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 3 pm
• 8.5-hour shifts including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medication
• Handle prescription orders accurately and comply with safety standards
• Support IV medication preparation with prior experience preferred
• Maintain inventory and ensure pharmacy areas are clean and organized
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to fulfill medication needs efficiently

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Some prior exposure to IV medication preparation is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
