Pharmacy Technician in Decatur, GA

A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a focus on oncology and infusion services. This role is designed for professionals ready to contribute to a dedicated outpatient oncology infusion center, providing vital chemotherapy and hematology treatments.

Location:

• Decatur, GA region (Candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Contract Duration:

• 13-week engagement

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and select hematology treatments within an outpatient oncology infusion setting
• Utilize IV start skills and proficiently access implanted ports to ensure effective patient care
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and support patient well-being throughout treatments

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology infusion pharmacy settings
• Certified in chemotherapy administration
• Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
• Proficient in IV insertion and implanted port access techniques
• Prior experience in hematology treatments (excluding blood transfusions)
