Pharmacy Technician in Demotte, IN

This opportunity is tailored for licensed Pharmacy Technicians seeking a retail pharmacy role in Francesville, IN. The position involves supporting daily operations at a community pharmacy that fills approximately 30 prescriptions per day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification
• Proven retail pharmacy experience, preferably with order entry systems
• Familiarity with PioneerRx software and Eyecon Medication Counting Device preferred
• Ability to train and adapt quickly in a small team environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurate order entry and prescription filling using established protocols
• Customer service including handling transactions and addressing inquiries
• Support verification process remotely with pharmacists located at a sister facility
• Participate in a three-day training and orientation before starting

Schedule and Location Details:

• Contract position starting June 29th with ongoing coverage until permanent hires are secured
• Coverage hours approximately 24-30 per week, ideally Wednesday through Friday
• Standard pharmacy hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, with no weekend shifts required
• The role may occasionally require coverage at a nearby community pharmacy after training
• Local candidates only; commuting within the area is expected
