This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position within a retail health center pharmacy operating on a 13-week contract. The role involves supporting pharmacy operations alongside a pharmacist and another technician, utilizing the Rx30 system.
Location: Derby, KS
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, starting May 4th
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform typical pharmacy technician duties such as accurate data entry and medication filling/dispensing
- Provide excellent patient service, ensuring a positive experience
- Collaborate effectively with the pharmacist and pharmacy team to maintain smooth operations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Kansas Pharmacy Technician license
- Familiarity with the Rx30 pharmacy system preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
