Pharmacy Technician | Derby, Kansas

A retail Pharmacy Technician position is available for a 13-week contract opportunity starting May 4th. This role is based in Derby, KS, within a health center pharmacy setting where you will collaborate closely with a pharmacist and another technician. The pharmacy utilizes the Rx30 system, and you will perform typical technician duties including data entry, filling and dispensing prescriptions, and providing excellent patient service.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription data into the Rx30 system
• Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care
• Assist pharmacy staff in maintaining an organized and efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patient interactions
