This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician skilled in outpatient pharmacy operations, located in Des Plaines, IL. The position offers a day shift schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with a temp-to-direct hire potential. This role is ideal for candidates looking to apply their retail outpatient pharmacy experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment using the Pioneer RX computer system.
Responsibilities include accurately preparing and dispensing medications, assisting pharmacists with daily tasks, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- Experience in retail outpatient pharmacy settings
- Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
- Proficiency with Pioneer RX system preferred
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9 AM to 5 PM
