A pharmacy technician position is available on a per diem basis in the Desoto, TX area, supporting pharmacy operations with accuracy and excellent customer service. This role involves preparing and distributing prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, providing medication information to patients, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day)
- Coverage during August 10 to August 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Provide customers with clear guidance on medication use when appropriate
- Maintain a superior level of customer service and professionalism throughout daily operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License required
- Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a pharmacy team
