Pharmacy Technician | Detroit, Michigan

This role requires a skilled Pharmacy Technician with expertise in non-sterile compounding to support operations within a closed-door specialty pharmacy. The position operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire.

Location:

• Detroit, MI

Responsibilities:

• Perform non-sterile compounding preparations in compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards.
• Accurately process prescriptions and prepare medications under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the closed-door specialty pharmacy setting.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to regulatory and licensing requirements, including proper documentation.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
• Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Demonstrated experience with non-sterile compounding.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in a closed-door pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
