Pharmacy Technician - Detroit, MI

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor with expertise in non-sterile compounding within a closed-door specialty pharmacy environment. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is initially a 13-week assignment with potential for conversion to permanent status.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient daily operations.
• Oversee non-sterile compounding activities in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold pharmacy protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Train and mentor pharmacy staff to promote skill development and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a lead or supervisory pharmacy technician.
• Strong background in pharmacy technician duties, including non-sterile compounding.
• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
• Ability to work effectively in a closed-door specialty pharmacy setting.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
