Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and maintain pharmacy information systems to enhance medication safety, workflow efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff, clinicians, and IT teams to ensure accurate functionality across electronic health records (EHRs), automated dispensing systems, and medication management tools.
  • Assist with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
  • Conduct user training sessions promoting data integrity and support quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with strong informatics or IT skills.
  • Solid expertise with Meditech pharmacy information systems is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including pharmacy staff, clinicians, and IT professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in user training and data analysis preferred.
